Mothers

What about a deserved moment of recess and relaxation some months after the baby has been delivered? You will have plenty of time to look after yourself, with massage sessions, depilation, skin cleanup, manicure, pedicure, etc. Meanwhile your baby will be carefully handled by one of our babysitters.

Our spa is located a few meters from the children’s space. Mothers may choose to have the baby with them during the entire treatment.

Learn the art of Shantala. Spend magic and relaxing moments with your baby.

Shantala is beneficial to both parents and their babies, for it fosters significant interaction and exchange of affection among them. Touches make babies remember intra-uterine movements, a time when the amniotic fluid wraps up the fetus massaging it with light contractions. When the baby is touched again, he/she rediscovers this pleasurable experience and thus feels safe and protected. After all, while in the uterus the fetus was protected from any danger or harm.

This activity is very important for parents as well. During these precious minutes, the ones who are doing the massage can talk, play and more intimately know their children. While being touched, babies realize how much they are loved. All these interactions arouse a sense of trust in the child, while relaxing, soothing, and also alleviating colic and reducing constipation.
